Rock Island Armory VR60 12ga Shotgun

Rock Island Armory VR60 12ga Shotgun is a great entry by Rock Island Armory Imports in the  AR 15 style semi-automatic shotgun world. The VR60 uses a conventional gas-operated action which is located around the support tube that runs below the barrel. The return spring is also located around the same support tube which is concealed by an enlarged polymer handguard. The upper receiver is manufactured from an aluminum alloy.

The manual safety, mag release, and bolt release are all in very similar locations to a AR 15, if you are familiar with the controls of the AR 15 this shotgun will be a breeze to learn to use.  The top of the receiver has a detachable carry handle with the integrated adjustable rear sight, as well as a detachable and elevation adjustable front sight. The full-length top Picatinny rail is ideal for adding sights or optics.

The handguard also has rail sections on the left and right as well as the bottom to allow for easy mounting of additional accessories. The shotgun comes with three chokes and two 5 round mags. Chambered for 3″ Magnum loads, the VR60 allows you to use either 3″ or 2.75″ 12ga ammunition. The VR60 will also accept MKA 1919 style 10rd mags.
